The Pressure on Marjorie Taylor Greene: Traitor, Threats, and a Son

Marjorie Taylor Greene was a Republican congresswoman from northwest Georgia and one of the best-known voices of the President's "America First" movement. In June 2025, the day after American bombers struck Iran, she broke with the President over the war. Within six months she had been called a traitor by the President, her home had received a pipe bomb threat, her adult son had received assassination threats, and she had announced she was leaving Congress.

This page teaches one of this investigation's theses. The thesis: Greene was driven out of Congress because she stood in the way of the war the Israeli government wanted and of the Epstein files that the network around it wanted kept hidden, and the threat to kill her son was the instrument that forced her out. The owner of this investigation holds that the pressure traces back to the same network that pushed the war. What the record shows is set out below, in her own words wherever possible, including what she herself has said about where the threats came from.

She broke with the war, with Israel, and with the lobby

On June 23, 2025, the day after the U.S. strikes on Iran's nuclear sites:

"Only 6 months in and we are back into foreign wars, regime change, and world war 3. It feels like a complete bait and switch to please the neocons, warmongers, military industrial complex contracts, and neocon tv personalities..." ... "My children are 22, 25, and 27. I will literally fight ANYONE for their future. And their future and their entire generation's future MUST be free of America LAST foreign wars that provoke terrorists attacks on our homeland, military drafts, and NUCLEAR WAR."

(Greene on X, June 23, 2025). To talk-radio host Mark Levin the same day: "No, I didn't sleep better after neo-cons and war mongers talked this administration into entering a hot war that Israel started" (Real America's Voice clip).

Then she went further than any Republican had. On July 29, 2025, she became the first Republican in Congress to call Israel's war in Gaza a "genocide," and doubled down days later, "earning condemnation from AIPAC," the pro-Israel lobby (Joseph Ford Cotto on X, October 12, 2025). She was one of four House Republicans who forced the vote to release the Epstein files. And when the White House would not rule out a draft for the Iran war, she said: "Not my son, over my dead body" (The Independent, via X).

She was branded a traitor, and the threats named her son

In November 2025, the President called her a traitor. On December 7, 2025 she described what followed:

"All of the death threats came from the 'left' until I stood with the Epstein Survivors... and that's when President Trump turned on me and called me a 'traitor' and then new death threats and harassments came from the 'right' or somewhere.

We received pizza doxxing deliveries, pipe bomb threats at my home and construction company office, and assassination threats directly on my son, Derek."

(Greene on X, December 7, 2025). On CBS's 60 Minutes that day: "The subject line for the direct death threats on my son was [Trump's] words, 'Marjorie Traitor Greene.' Those are death threats directly fueled by Trump." (The Bulwark on X). The threats, as she later described them: "'We're going to snuff out his life. We're going to put a bullet in his head. Marjorie Traitor Greene.'" (Latin Times, May 6, 2026).

She says she sent the threats to the President, the White House chief of staff, the FBI Director, and the Vice President. By her account, the President replied that if her son were killed she would deserve it, because she was a traitor to him. She says she has kept the texts and would "probably get put in jail" if she released them. In September 2026 she said she was still waiting for the FBI Director to act: "Still waiting, Kash." (Texas Tribune on X, September 24, 2026).

She left

Greene announced her resignation on November 21, 2025, effective January 5, 2026, saying she did not want her district to endure a "hurtful and hateful primary" (Wikipedia). She had said months earlier that "RINOs, Neocons, and Never Trumpers" were funding a challenger because "I won't send your kids to die in another foreign war" (Greene on X, June 17, 2025). Mario Nawfal, one of the largest accounts on X, later summed up the pattern in one line: "Marjorie Taylor Greene was threatened until she quit. Thomas Massie was taken out with the most expensive House primary in history. Now we know why." His explanation, drawn from retired Lt. Col. Karen Kwiatkowski, was the defense-bill provision fusing the U.S. and Israeli militaries (see Section 219) (Nawfal on X, June 1, 2026).

How the thesis connects the pieces

Here is what the record shows, step by step:

  1. Greene opposed the war Israel started and America joined, in public and repeatedly.
  2. She was the first Republican to call Israel's Gaza war a genocide, and AIPAC condemned her.
  3. She forced the Epstein files vote; she says the President pressed her to drop it because "his friends would get hurt."
  4. The President branded her a traitor; the threats against her son used that exact word.
  5. The two Republicans who led the Epstein petition and opposed the war were both removed from Congress within months: Greene by resignation after the threats, Massie by a primary funded heavily by pro-Israel money.

The thesis holds that steps 1 to 3 explain step 4 and 5: the people she crossed were the war party, the lobby, and the network protected by the Epstein files. Greene's own statements are more specific about the trigger than about the source. She places the threats after the President's "traitor" label and says they came "from the 'right' or somewhere." She has not publicly named Israel, the Mossad, or AIPAC as the source of the threats, and no document in the captures does so. Posters who say "AIPAC got MTG's resignation" (@BaqiRakshanda, November 22, 2025) or "ISRAEL coerced MTG to resign from congress" (@Bavartehalin, August 23, 2026) are stating the thesis, not reporting evidence. The FBI, which she says she asked for help, has not reported who sent the threats.

What would settle it

The identity of whoever sent the threats against Derek Greene is the key fact, and the FBI has it or can get it. A citizen can ask: were the threats investigated, were senders identified, and were any of them connected to organized campaigns for or against the war? Greene says she is "still waiting."
